In 2005-2017 at the estuary of Kura river it was recorded sedentary bird populations belonging to 12 orders, 28 families, 44 genus and 61 species. 41% of these birds feed on animal food, 52% of them – plant and animal food and 7% - only floral food. 38 species of birds feed on water invertebrates, 40% species eat terrestrial invertebrates, 14 speies consume fishes, 5 species – amphibians, 9 species – reptilies, 9 species – birds and 10 species – mammals.
