According to the methods of WHO standardization, 7 preparations of G-6- FD from Oguz administrative area of the Republic of Azerbaijan were purified and characterized. Three variants previously unknown in the world literature have been identified, and they have fast electrophoretic mobility and differ with 5-10 times faster in utilization of the substrate 2dG-6-F. The need for molecular studies at the level of the G-6-FD gene is discussed.
